Delete your Content Signal data

Content Signal gives you a self-serve way to permanently delete your account and the Instagram analytics data associated with it. You can also request deletion directly from Moon Soldier if you can no longer access Content Signal.

1. Delete inside Content Signal

Sign in to Content Signal with the Instagram professional account connected to your Content Signal account. Open the account page from your profile picture, choose Delete Content Signal account, then confirm the deletion.

2. What is deleted

Deleting the Content Signal account removes the connected Instagram account record, stored Instagram access credentials, Content Signal sessions, imported Instagram posts, historical metric snapshots, Content Signal scores and associated sync records held for that account. The deletion is permanent and the analytics history cannot be restored.

3. Disconnecting is different

Choosing Disconnect Instagram removes the stored Instagram access credential and stops future Instagram API access, but it keeps the analytics history already collected so the account can be reconnected later. Choose Delete Content Signal account if you want the stored analytics data removed.

4. If you cannot access your account

Email info@moonsoldier.co with the subject Content Signal Data Deletion and include the Instagram username connected to Content Signal. Moon Soldier may ask for reasonable information to verify that you control the account before deleting data. Verified manual deletion requests will be completed as soon as reasonably possible and ordinarily within 30 days.
