Delete your Content Tracker data

Content Tracker gives you a self-serve way to permanently delete your Moon Soldier account and the Content Tracker data associated with its connected Instagram professional account. You can also request deletion directly from Moon Soldier if you can no longer access your account.

1. Delete from Account

Sign in to your Moon Soldier account at moonsoldier.co/login and open Account. In the account area, open the Danger Zone, enter your Moon Soldier password, choose Delete Moon Soldier Account, then confirm the deletion.

2. What is deleted

Deleting your Moon Soldier account removes the Moon Soldier login identity and linked Content Tracker data, including the connected Instagram account record, stored Instagram access credentials, Content Tracker sessions, imported Instagram posts, historical metric snapshots, Content Tracker scores and associated sync records held for that account. The deletion is permanent and the analytics history cannot be restored.

3. Disconnecting is different

Choosing Disconnect Instagram in Account removes the stored Instagram access credential and stops future Instagram API access, but it keeps the analytics history already collected so the account can be reconnected later. Choose Delete Moon Soldier Account if you want the stored Content Tracker analytics data removed as well.

4. If you cannot access your account

Email info@moonsoldier.co with the subject Content Tracker Data Deletion and include the Instagram username connected to Content Tracker. Moon Soldier may ask for reasonable information to verify that you control the account before deleting data. Verified manual deletion requests will be completed as soon as reasonably possible and ordinarily within 30 days.
